Viburnum orientale

Viburnum orientale

A moderately sized deciduous shrub of the V. opulus complex maturing to 8'.  Leaves are sharply 3 lobed that turn to a splended golden yellow providing a beautiful contrast to the red berries ripening in late summer and early autumn.  Flowers are white on small 2" cymes.  Fruits on our plant appear to be larger than most other V. opulus and V. trilobum.  Native to the Caucasus and Turkey.  Zone 5
