Introduced in 1996 by Roy Klehm, Beaver Creek Nursery, Illinois.  Habit is 8-10 tall with a 6-8' spread.  Flowers and fruit of the species.  Distinguishing feature is its burgundy fall coloration which then turns to bright red.
