Viburnum carlesii 'Aurora'

This cultivar is similar to V. carlesii with the exception of more intense red buds,  Flowers open pink, then turning to white.  The result of 25 years of breeding by Leslie Slinger, Slieve Donald Nursery, Newcastle, Northern Ireland.  Introduced in 1958.
