Selected in 1915 by Roy Hahs, another one of A.E. Morgan's field collectors.  An upright, rounded shrub, slower growing and ultimately shorter than the species, growing to only 6-8'.  Foliage is dark green with thick, heavy substance.  Flowers are typical of the species.  The edible red fruit is larger than any of the other trilobums and holds well into the winter.  Fall color is deep red.  A selection of American cranberry noted for its excellent flowering and fruit display on a smaller, more compact plant.  Also has a high pectin content, similiar to 'tri. 'Andrews'. Zone 3
