Viburnum plicatum f. plicatum 'Kerns Pink'

A selection made in 1957 by Carl Kern at the Wyoming Nursery in Ohio.  An upright growing plicatum f. plicatum to 8-10' high and 6-8' wide, yet finer in texture and more delicate than the type.  Foliage is bronze tinged.  Flowers are a distinct but delicate pink carnation-like snowballs.  Sometimes the flowers revert to white, while others may be mixed pink and white.  Zone 5
