This plant has a couple of features unlike that of the species The foliage is a glossy apple green which is a defining characteristic when in leaf. Flowers are typical of the type. The fruits are clusters of yellow becoming a translucent golden yellow after the first frosts, making it an excellent compliment when planted with red fruited varieties.
