Yellow Fruited European Cranberry Viburnum

Introduced by Spaeth's Nursery in Berlin in 1910.  A rounded-spreading cranberry maturing to 6-8'.  This plant has a couple of features unlike that of the species  The foliage is a glossy apple green which is a defining characteristic when in leaf.  Flowers are typical of the type.  The fruits are clusters of yellow becoming a translucent golden yellow after the first frosts, making it an excellent compliment when planted with red fruited varieties.  The fruit is persistent if not eaten by the birds.  Fall foliage is red.  Zone 4
