Based on frequent conversations with Michael Dirr, I feel that this is his favorite nudum.  A relatively compact plant which sets fruit when no other nudum pollinator is present indicating self fertility.  Foliage is glossy dark green, turning red-purple in the fall.  Fruit is pink, maturing to blue, and finally purple-black and persists until spring.  Gaining in popularity as exposure increases.  Zone 5
