Viburnum nudum 'Angustifolium'

This eastern North American native is not only beautiful in its own right, but is also offered as a pollinator for other V. nudum with the exception of V. nudum 'Pink Beauty', which blooms before 'Angustifolium'.  The leaves are narrow elliptical, being less than half as wide as long giving the appearance of a willow but of firmer texture.  Grows 8' by 6' with an open habit when young but filling in nicely at maturity.  Yellowish-white flowers are borne in June giving way to fruits that are pink at first, maturing blue to blue-black.  Fall color is red-purple and long lasting.  The fine textured leaves make an ideal textural contrast in the landscape.  Zone 5
