A species rare in cultivation from eastern Siberia and inner Mongolia growing up to 6' with the same spread.  Flowers are small and sparse in small 1-2" cymes.  Fruits are red maturing to black and also sparse.  If one were to group this plant with other viburnums, it would be attached to V. lantana and culturally treated as such.  Grown mainly for botanical interest.  Zone 4
