Viburnum carlesii

Viburnum carlesii 'Summerhill'

This is a cultivar we received from Mike Johnson at Summerhill Nursery, CT.  Reported to me by Mike that it is self scaffolding and holds its leaves well into the winter, making it semi-evergreen.  Any other documented information about this plant is not available other than what we gather from our plants.  We have observed that the foliage is a glossy dark green which would set it apart from the species and cultivars.  All other features are believed to be that of the species.
