Viburnum bracteatum 'Emerald Luster'

A selection by our good friend Michael Dirr.  Selected for its lustrous dark green foliage and profuse flowering producing a striking contrast against the glossy, dark green foliage.  Showed excellent drought tolerance in University of Georgia, Athens trials.  The single plant at the UGA trials produced a profusion of purple-blue-black fruits with cross-pollingation indicating that 'Emerald Luster' is self fertile.
